Well done to all the tetrathletes who competed this weekend in Tattersalls. Junior girls Megan, Roisin, Katie, Eilbhe, Zoe, Laura, Sophie, Fiona, Emma Jane and Annie who all did very well as most were doing tetrathlon for their first time.
Congratulations to the boys team of Chris, Daragh and Jack who were 5th as a team and also to Chris who was 4th best individual Junior Boy overall.
And to Sari Coakley who was representing the Senior Girls and whose team were 2nd.

The Patricia Dinkin Trophy will be awarded to the highest placed Novice Rider aged 12+ in dressage, showjumping and cross country (eventing disciplines)
LEYLAND LEAGUE IS OPEN TO MEMBERS WHO HAVE NOT QUALIFIED FOR THE CHAMPIONSHIPS IN THE DISCIPLINE.
DRESSAGE TEST: Beginners Test for Under 12’s - Eventing Test for Over 12’s
SHOW JUMPING: Two courses: Up to 70cm and Up to 90cm
CROSS-COUNTRY: Under 12’s Course - Open Course (Novice Standard) for Over 12’s
MOUNTED GAMES: Will be standard and open to all competitors.
YOU CAN ENTER ANY NUMBER OF DISCIPLINES.
TIMES WILL BE GIVEN FOR DRESSAGE. ENTRIES FOR DRESSAGE BEFORE FRIDAY 3rd. SEPTEMBER TO orielsponyclub@aim.com.

Qualified for the Festival!!
Well done to all those that took part in Cavan last week at the area qualifier.
To Sadhbh McGrath who was placed 2nd in the Intermediate combined training and India Dawson who was 4th. These have now qualified for the Festival in Mullingar.
Roisin O'Scanaill has qualified in the Junior Combined Training.
Well done to Orlaith O'Scanaill who was 2nd in the under 12's combined training.
We had 4 teams taking part in Robbie Bailey who all did very well.
Our Ward gold team - Daragh Byrne, Katie Byrne, Megan and Emma Jane Gannon came 3rd and qualified for the festival.
Following closely behind, and just separated by 3 seconds were our Ward Green team of Zoe Cokley, Taragh Brady, Roisin O'Scanaill & Ciara Mullen. Following the withdrawal of another qualifying team in our area, this team and now qualified for the Festival!

Congratulations to all our Hunter Trial teams that took part in the Hunter Trial Championships. Well done to Millie Leonard and Shauna Kidd who were 10th in Senior Pairs and Chris Coakley and Megan Gannon who were placed 10th in Junior Pairs . Megan Carberry and Sinead O'Scanaill who were joint 2nd in Consolation Senior Pairs and Megan Gannon & Emma Jane Gannon who were 3rd in Consolation Junior Pairs.
